Culture
The founders of Villa11 are determined to revive the traditions of the old bourgeois salon life of Pasarét, once a vibrant cultural centre, in their Club. It was this commitment that led them to create an exclusive women's club based on a passion for art and culture.
The rich cultural heritage of Pasarét, where renowned artists such as Magda Szabó, Béla Bartók and Antal Szerb lived and worked, has inspired the Villa11 Club to nurture this heritage and to host a community that actively supports the arts through its activities and its members.
The building itself was built in the 1930s and is adorned with exceptionally beautiful works of art, some of which - such as the door grilles or the fireplace in the Salon - still adorn the rooms of Villa11.
The Villa's cultural heritage has also been enhanced with new works, such as the sculpture 'Libbenés' by Pál Breznay, which adorns the fabulous garden.
Culture and talent development are a priority, and Villa11's cultural programmes, whether exhibitions, literary evenings or salon talks, reflect a commitment to both art and quality.
At Villa11, the old bourgeois salon life is reborn, forming a community where members can draw inspiration from the world of culture as well as quality recharging.
