YIN YOGA

Yin yoga represents the other half of the yang element: in contrast to the active, dynamic, industrious masculine quality, it is passive, calm, quiet, introspective, nourishing, grounding, and stabilizing. Yin yoga harmonizes and balances these two qualities. It is a highly meditative form of yoga that gently yet deeply works the body both physically and energetically. It balances, calms, teaches self-reflection, and promotes relaxation.
